Little Bear

My Little Bear is now 2!! He is such a blessing, and a poo per,lol. He brings joy and laughter to our family, he, has healed my heart, and brings us all together.

Getting Merrick here was the easiest and the hardest,at the same time, everything went relatively smooth except the morning,noon and night sickness, I only gained 12 pounds total, not to shabby, we did have some problems with low blood sugar, then it would spike, every now and then making me even sicker, but Merrick grew and grew.

He was Born by c-section on Oct 24 at 8:30 am, 7 weeks early, He weighed 7lbs 15oz, and was 18 inches long. he was so tiny I didn't believe he was mine at first, lol we were expecting a 10 plus lb. kid and we got a tiny sweet little angel, I remember thinking that he still smelled like heaven.

He had a rough start, he couldn't nurse and lost some weight but by the time he due date came he was over 11lbs and going! he did have R.S.V. 3 time before he was 6 months old and had to go to the hospital often, the last time he got it they just sent him home to die, there was nothing more they could do for him, but I knew, Heavenly Father didn't give him to me to take away and Mike gave him a blessing that night before we went to bed and we kissed our son, and hope for a miracle, when we got up the next morning , Merrick was hungry and breathing normal, he is my miracle! he has only been a little sick since and is now a whopping 40lb 38inch tall terrible 2 year old, and my true joy.
